bonito is a project that began in 2020 and aims to highlight the potential of cement as a versatile element in contemporary design.
Why cement?
I am fascinated by its versatility and the creative potential it offers. I like the possibility of adding color to the material, experimenting with molds, or preparing a mortar that I can manually shape, exploring different forms and textures.
It's not necessary to use an oven to dry the pieces, which makes the process simpler and more accessible. Furthermore, the durability of cement gives me the feeling that each piece can stand the test of time and keep alive the intention with which it was created.
