Workshop on Decorative Pieces in Pigmented Cement
Description
In this workshop we will explore cement pigmentation techniques and create pieces using silicone molds.

The workshop requires a minimum of 5 participants. If this number is not reached, the session will be cancelled and a new date will be proposed.

- Tools: All necessary materials and tools including silicone molds
- Digital guide: Digital guide (PDF) with guidelines, suppliers, and detailed steps.
- Offer: A beautiful piece will be provided to complete the finishing touches during the workshop.
- Storage: The pieces take 24 hours to dry. Participants can pick up their finished pieces on a mutually agreed date/time.
3:00 PM - Welcome & Introduction
- Introduction of the trainer and participants
- A brief explanation of what we will create and the objectives of the session.
Materials & Preparation of Mortar
- Ideal cement types for pigmentation (e.g., white vs. gray cement)
- Aggregates and additives
- Ideal mixing proportions
Molds: Types and Techniques
- Silicone, plastic, acrylic, and wood molds
- Tips for avoiding air bubbles
- Preparation and lubrication of the molds
Coffee Break / Rest
A short break to relax, have coffee/tea and chat.
Pigmentation with Iron Oxide
- How and when to add the pigment.
- Correct dosages and how to achieve different color intensities.
- Tips for achieving color uniformity in mortar.
Filling the Molds
- Techniques for pouring mortar correctly
- How to vibrate the mold to prevent bubbles
- Level and finish of the upper surface
Demolding and Finishing
- When and how to safely unmold.
- Care after demolding
- Final touches

- Final explanation and time for questions.
- Subsequent email delivery of a digital PDF containing:
